Skills Plus - Cirpe

What are "Skills Plus"?Skills Plus are skills competitions for people with (labour) disabilities, who competing in “Green Jobs”, “Hospitality (incl. catering), “Electrician”, “IT” e “Social Health and Care (incl. cleaning)” categories.

The competitions are based on the successful Skills Talents concept of WorldSkills Netherlands (professional competitions for students in vocational education)
and they are beautiful life experiences for all the partecipants and their mentors.

The National Skills Plus competitions are hold in 6 different European countries: the first competition's step takes place in partners country (Bulgaria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands), then the best team of each nation compete as the best team of their category in the international competition, who will take place in Holland in summer 2021.

Cirpe and New service have excellence teams New Service, who partecipants are students of educational project "All Included", who took place in Cirpe's schools in Palermo (Green Jobs), San Cataldo (Catering) e Catania (IT course).

Following their triumph in the Eurovision Song Contest and appearance in the European Championship final , Italy ended up on the podium with both of its teams in the Skills Plus competitions!
Our two teams, the Italian team from Palermo who competed in the "Green Jobs" category and the Italian team from San Cataldo in the "Hospitality and Catering" category,
They both managed to finish in third place and put Italy on the podium in both categories!
The happiness of the children, their families and everyone present was immense because the commitment and strength of the teams were rewarded in this competition at European level!
Cirpe would like to congratulate all the guys of the All Included project, their coaches and tutors who made possible the participation in Skills Plus.
While our guys enjoy their victory, we start working to open a new chapter with the new Skills Plus Competition!
