Kromeriz, Czech Republic’s city, is the place where the first training session is setting for the Alice project ALICE.
All partners, and school teachers who joined the project are now in the Czech Republic for two training session days to build professional competencies of to implement formative assessment methods into their teaching practice, specifically focusingon citizenship education.

During the first training day, they focused on the importance of citizenship education as a major key in tackling salient societal issues, as well as on the conceptualization of formative assessment within education in general and the challenges and opportunities this presents for citizenship education across Europe.
To familiarize teachers with the framework and explore the diverse European contexts, were guided through reflection exercises that allowed them to discuss great enthusiasm and differences across countries.

As far as concerned Italy, our teacher Marianna Guastella, is there in Kromeriz. There are other nine teachers from other Palermo’s schools with her: Scientific High school "Albert Einstein", Scientific High school "S. Cannizzaro", High school IIS "G.D’Alessandro", and Teaching Institute "C.Finocchiaro Aprile".

The first training day was interesting for all participants and gave the possibility to understand, share, discuss the topic in-depth and analyze different and same aspects of methods, in the context of citizenship education in their school.

Today is the second and last training day in Kromeriz, and we are sure it will give many others satisfaction and will contribute to adding new tools to every participant’s wealth of knowledge.

Please, follow as in this “trip” to know more about that!
